Central Welding Supply Opens New North Plains Location to Serve Hillsboro and Greater Portland Area
MARYSVILLE, WA, APRIL 28, 2025 – Dale Wilton, CEO of Central Welding Supply, announced the opening of a new location at 29191 NW West Union Rd, North Plains, OR 97133. This branch serving the Hillsboro area represents the fourth retail and distribution location for Central Welding Supply in Oregon, and the fourth location directly serving the SW and Portland Area Market, along with the existing Portland, OR, Vancouver, WA and Kelso, WA Central Welding Supply operations.
The new Hillsboro Branch improves local service and deliveries to existing and new customers in the Hillsboro, North Plains, Forest Grove, Aloha, Hazeldale and immediate surrounding areas, previously served from the Portland, OR store. All Central Welding Supply locations offer fast local delivery, as well as convenient retail stores for walk-in customers, welding equipment rental and equipment repair services, and medical, bulk, specialty, food grade and beverage gases. Each of Central’s locations offer a broad range of gases, occupational and environmental safety products, as well as welding equipment, welding consumables and related industrial supplies.
The Hillsboro Branch represents Central Welding Supply’s 29th location in a 3-state territory that includes Washington, Oregon, and Alaska. Dale Wilton notes, “We’ve served customers in the greater Portland market for over 12 years, starting with the first of our area branch stores in Vancouver, WA in 2013, and with the purchase of United Welding Supply in Portland, OR in 2016. Services and products from the new Hillsboro area store offer a convenient option for local customers, along with ongoing support for major construction projects in the region, local manufacturing and welding fabrication operations, government facilities, semiconductor and electronics industries, as well as healthcare, restaurants, food packaging and many other business types.”
