A New Chapter for a Kenai Landmark

Since 1957, Morgan Steel has been a cornerstone of the Kenai Peninsula. For nearly 70 years, the Morgan family has served our marine, industrial, and hobbyist communities with a level of dedication that is hard to find.

We are thrilled to announce that as of April 1st, 2026, Central Welding Supply has officially acquired the remaining steel and materials operations of Morgan Steel. Having already integrated the gas and welding side back in 2024, this final step brings the entire operation under the Central Welding Supply umbrella.

This transition allows Wade and Martha Morgan to officially hang up their hats. After decades of tireless work, they are heading into a full-time retirement focused on family, travel, and—most importantly—finding a few more months of warm weather each year!
