FEATURED IN NATIONAL NASCAR NEWS – Haley Constance, 17-year-old driver of the Central Welding Supply sponsored #78 Pro Late Model car received some national press with an article about her on the NASCAR news website.

Haley started racing in 2009 in Mini Karts at Puget Sound Go Karting Association and other tracks around the Pacific Northwest area. She quickly started bringing home championships with her first in 2013 Mini Karts Indoor. In 2013 she was also Most Improved Driver, Driver’s choice Sportsman of the Year and Fan’s Choice Sportsman of the Year at Deming Speedway. That same year she won an all expense paid trip to meet Kasey Kahne and attend the Phoenix International NASCAR race. Haley continued to excel with awards and championships. In 2017 she moved to 600 Micro Sprints and Hornets. In 2018 she had 5 wins out of 8 races in her Youth Hornet. In 2019 she had 4 wins out of 9 races. She also received a Most Inspirational Award from Evergreen Speedway.

Details from Mike Buell, VP of Central Welding Supply and leader of our Motorsports Sponsorship Programs – The key facts from Saturday night, this was Haley’s first race on the big track (5/8 mile): She was 4th fastest in practice, qualified 10th out of 18 cars. She started the race on the inside of row 1 (Pole Position) and led the race for 32 laps. After a series for spin outs by other drivers and a series of restarts she held 2nd until lap 49 and then was passed so she was 3rd lap 64. She held off 6 time track champion Naima Lang for the final 36 laps and finished the night in 4th place. It was an outstanding night for Haley and team!
