The Miller Multimatic 215 PRO with Auto-Set is a multi-voltage, 230 amp portable multiprocess welder that is capable of MIG, stick and DC TIG welding. It comes complete with a 15 ft. MDX-100 MIG gun and stick electrode holder with cable. The Multimatic 215 PRO has a higher duty cycle, draws less power and has a superior welding arc, compared to other welders in its class. Weighing in at only 35 pounds, the Multimatic 215 PRO is capable of MIG and stick welding mild steel up to 3/8 inch thick. It can also DC TIG weld up to 1/4 inch thick steel with an OPTIONAL TIG torch.

  • Auto-Set -
    Fast and easy predefined settings for multiple materials and processes to help you get welding quickly.
    Available for all processes (MIG, flux-cored, DC TIG and DC stick) with the ability to fine-tune your settings.
    Set weld parameters by selecting:
    MIG/flux-cored — wire diameter and material thickness
    DC TIG — tungsten diameter and material thickness
    DC stick — electrode type, diameter and material thickness

    Miller inverter technology -
    Combines best-in-class arc characteristics with the portability of a 35-pound machine. The arc is extremely forgiving to variations in arc length and travel speeds

    Angled cast-aluminum drive system -
    With calibrated tension knob creates consistent feeding and easy setup for up to 15-foot MIG guns.

    Quick Select drive roll -
    Makes setup quicker by offering three grooves, two for different size solid wire and a third for flux-cored welding wire.

    Continually upgradeable -
    USB-enabled software allows expandable machine capabilities without requiring mechanical modifications. This ensures the investment continues to produce over time, even as needs evolve.

    Gas Detect -
    Ensures reliable welds by detecting shielding gas presence, displaying alerts for supply issues, and purging the line during startup.

    Auto Spoolgun Detect -
    Automatically detects when a MIG gun or spool gun is connected eliminating the need for a switch.

    Smooth-Start -
    Provides a smooth, spatter-free start. It is the best-starting machine in the small MIG machine category.

    Fan-On-Demand -
    Power source cooling system operates only when needed, reducing noise, energy use and the amount of contaminants pulled though the machine.

    Thermal overload protection -
    Shuts down unit and activates the over temperature light if airflow is blocked or duty cycle is exceeded. Automatically resets when unit cools.

    Uses 4 inch or 8 inch (102 or 203 mm) spools -
    Can be set up to weld with .024 to .035 inch (0.6 to 0.9 mm) solid wire and .030 to .045 inch (0.8 to 1.1 mm) flux-cored wire.
