Bulk Installation: Laser Application

Pictured is the Installation of a 5600L liquid nitrogen tank with vaporizer powers, installed by Chris King, Nate Kelsey & Paul Feeney, system engineering specialists from our Central Cryogenics division.

A CENTRA-PAD was installed as the foundation for the 5,500 Liter MB tank to support a new Mitsubishi laser application, purchased to eliminate the bottle neck they were facing with lead times on their cut parts. Paul Feeney and Paul Watterson ran approximately 300’ of piping to deliver gases directly to the laser equipment to streamline production capabilities.

Though an undersized tank was proposed by another vendor, we were able to illustrate a 25% reduction in overall costs by sizing their system appropriately. Spending more upfront will save more in the long term.
